Murray, the former world No. 1, was in fine form in the first three sets, breaking Tsitsipas’ serve four times. The Greek, the world No. 5, was struggling with his serve throughout the match, making 12 double faults.

The match will resume on Friday afternoon, with Murray looking to complete the victory and move into the third round of Wimbledon.

“I’m happy with the way I’m playing,” Murray said after the match. “I’m moving well, and I’m serving well. I just need to keep it up tomorrow.”

Tsitsipas was disappointed with his performance, but he is confident that he can turn things around on Friday.

“I didn’t serve well today,” Tsitsipas said. “But I’m confident that I can come back tomorrow and play better.”
