Pathum Nissanka scored 133 runs off 115 balls to lead Sri Lanka to a comfortable victory. He was well supported by Kusal Mendis, who made 59 runs.
The West Indies bowlers struggled to contain the Sri Lankan batsmen, with only Akeal Hosein taking two wickets.
With this win, Sri Lanka have now won all of their matches in the Super Six stage. They will be joined in the World Cup by the top three teams from the Super Six stage, which will be decided after the final round of matches on Saturday.
The West Indies, on the other hand, have been eliminated from the World Cup. They will be hoping to bounce back in the next cycle of qualification matches.
