MPs now earn a monthly salary of ₹1,00,000. Plus, a daily allowance of ₹1,24,000 when Parliament is in session

Constituency and Office Allowances

₹2,000 daily constituency allowance. ₹2,500 daily office allowance when Parliament is in session.

Pension for Former MPs

Former MPs get a monthly pension of ₹25,000. Daily allowance during sessions: ₹31,000/month.

Extra Benefits for MPs

Free AC train travel across India. Additional pension of ₹2,000/month for every year of service beyond 5 years, up to ₹2,500/month.
