A cyclonic storm, named Biparjoy, is likely to hit the Gujarat coast on June 14. The storm is expected to make landfall near Veraval, Gujarat, at around 11 am.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Gujarat, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the state. The IMD has also issued a warning for heavy rainfall in the coastal areas of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
