Superstar Chiranjeevi sent a heartfelt condolence letter as soon as he learned of the awful news. “It is very sad to know that the senior actor and protagonist Chandramohan Garu is no more,” he wrote on X. “Chandramohan Garu left an indelible mark in the minds of Telugu people through his versatile acting skills in many such films as ‘Sirisirimuvva’, ‘Sankarabharanam’, ‘Radhakalyanam’ to ‘Nakoo Pellam Khali’.” In my first film, Pranam Kharidu, he played a mute and did an amazing job. That incident marked the beginning of what became a close friendship and even stronger tie between us. I feel a personal loss in not being near him anymore. My sincere sympathies to his family, may his soul rest in peace, and fans”
