Mumbai Indians New York (MINY) defeated Seattle Orcas by 7 wickets in the final of the inaugural Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament on Monday. MINY chased down a target of 184 with 24 balls to spare, thanks to a brilliant unbeaten knock of 137 from Nicholas Pooran.
Pooran’s Knock One of the Best in MLC History
Pooran’s knock was one of the best individual performances in the history of MLC. He scored at a strike rate of 249.09, and hit the ball all over the park. He was particularly destructive against the spinners, hitting 6 sixes and 5 fours off them.

For Seattle Orcas, de Kock was the top scorer with 87. However, the rest of the batting order failed to support him, and they were eventually bowled out for 183.
