The satellites were launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The mission was a success and all 104 satellites were successfully placed in orbit.
The satellites were launched for a variety of purposes, including Earth observation, communications, and scientific research. The launch is a major achievement for ISRO and demonstrates the country’s growing capabilities in space technology.
The following are some of the satellites that were launched:
- Cartosat-3: A high-resolution Earth observation satellite
- INSAT-3DR: A weather satellite
- Neutron Monitor: A scientific satellite that will study cosmic rays
- Nine nano-satellites from the United States
- Eight nano-satellites from Indonesia
The launch of these satellites is a major boost for India’s space program. It will help the country to improve its Earth observation capabilities, improve its weather forecasting capabilities, and conduct scientific research in space.
The launch is also a sign of India’s growing economic and technological prowess. It shows that India is capable of carrying out complex and challenging missions.
